We're all about curiosity! Read on to get answers to our most commonly asked questions or drop us a line at hello@wonderandwhoa.com and we'll get back to you within 24 hours.

What's the scoop on your pre-launch pop-ups?

We're working hard to get our very first location locked and loaded, but in the meantime we're loving testing some of our themes and concepts to make sure that we're delivering the very best experience for you and your kiddos. The best way to make sure we're delivering fun, is to have fun!

Some of the events will be free, some will have a small cost to cover materials but the only way to get in on the action before our doors officially open (and give us your brilliant input to help create the most amazing memory making events of all time) is to join our village!

What are your hours?

Hours for our pre-launch pop-up events will be sent via email when signup opens.

Once we open doors in the Kansas City (northland), we'll be open 8a - 8:30p with classes starting on the half hour from 8:30a - 730p.

Check out the daily schedule here

Where are you located?

Right now, you can find us all over Kansas City metro hosting super secret pop-up events testing our class curriculum and hosting Family Sunday Fundays.

In early 2024 we'll be opening doors to our first location in the northland of KC.

In late 2024 we'll be opening our second location in the Canton neighborhood of Baltimore, MD.

What exactly can I expect when arriving at the Studio & Shop?

The short answer: A solution for all the conflicting desires that parenthood and caretaking bring!

The long answer: We are working tirelessly to create a space that allows kids to be active in a meaningful way, while also allowing adults the space to be whoever they want to be that day (working, active, passive, social, quiet, etc)

So, what does that mean?
Classes are held in a designated, open studio format with plenty of space for adults and kids to participate together, or, there is also a separate designated space loaded with internet, outlets, and cozy chairs for parents to retreat nearby if they are choosing co-independence that day.

Food and drink are welcomed in the space. Snacks, water bottles, and essentials are also available for purchase at the shop.

We will also be hosting a small area of lockers available as a bonus to our first 30 members and then offered, upon availability, to members in order of when they signed up.

The shop is small but full of thoughtful gifts and resources to help build confident, strong-minded kiddos, as well as tokens to help us all celebrate and explore global and local culture.

Parents and caretakers of multiple kids know just how challenging it can be to load and unload the whole gang. So we're happy to offer a helping hand - you'll just shoot us a text when you arrive and we'll post that number here and outside the shop as soon as we open.

Can I just drop-in, or do I need a reservation?

Whichever you choose! Classes are limited to 15 kids to keep things enjoyable. We open 10 reservations online ahead of time for anyone who knows for sure they want to attend and wants to secure their spot.

We also hold 5 seats in each class for drop-ins and those open 20 minutes before class starts and filled on a first come, first served basis.

Check-in for reservations is required 10 minutes before class starts (either in person or via text). Any reservations that have not been checked-in will be forfeited and opened to drop-ins.

What happens if I have a reservation and can't make it?

S#!T happens! If you make a reservation we ask that you check-in for the class at least 10 minutes prior to class starting either in-person at the studio or via text if you're still on your way!

All reservations that are not checked in will be forfeited and opened to drop-ins starting 10 minutes prior to the class starting.

What age groups are your classes designed for?

Classes are designed for ages 0-12 with variations available to accommodate different age groups and capabilities.

Do I have to pay for my baby?

Babies ages 0-6 months are free of charge. So go ahead and leave the house - we got you covered ;) #ItTakesAVillage

Are these classes good for Homeschoolers?

Do I have to sign a waiver?

Yep, you do. It's important for us to be totally aligned on what to expect out of the experience, and waivers are a great place for us to bring to the forefront any potential risks that you should be aware of.

What's the parking situation?

We make every effort to select pop-up locations and permanent locations that have ample, close by parking. Join our village to get info on our pop-up events (along with parking details) and, as soon as we open our permanent locations, we'll provide a few more insights on this FAQ so you know what to expect.

Do you offer loading and unloading help?

Loading and unloading multiple children can put you in a pickle at times. One of the core values we hold is to be helpful. We want your experience at Wonder & Whoa to make you feel on point! So if you need an extra hand loading or unloading just let us know! Pull up front and text us at the number listed on the door and someone will be right out to help.

Can we have food and drinks in the studio?

Of course! We ask that you manage the mess and crumbs that little ones will inevitably make, but please bring drinks, snacks, and meals - the experience will be much more enjoyable if no one is hungry!

(We also will have a small selection of snacks and water bottles on hand for backup)

Can I bring my dog?

Sure! Your dog must be well behaved and leashed or in a carrier while inside.
