Air dry clay + Mysterious objects + Inspiration from around the world.
No hidden meaning in this one. Clay Creation is all about experimenting and creating with clay and our hands (no pottery wheel or kiln for this experience).
In Curious Clay Creations, kids get a lump of clay and permission to see what happens. We’ll use our hands, unusual objects, patterns, art, and traditions from around the world as inspiration to make something completely their own.
While we're not throwing shade at pinch pots, this experience will leave your kid walking away with something a bit more unique (and, hopefully, kinda weird).
The Full Scoop
- Mondays 3:30p-5p
- All materials, clay, paint, and glazes included
- Afternoon snack to fuel our brains included
- Designed for ages 5-12 years old
- Mixed age session with various levels of complexity incorporated based on skill and interest
- This is a process art session where there is no single “right” outcome

Kids can keep creating, tinkering, experimenting, and exploring with open-ended materials.

AGE OF PARTICIPANT
After school activities are designed for school age kids 5 years old to 12 years old. Our events are mixed age adjusted individually based on skills and interest.
SCHEDULE & FLOW
Session Flow:
3:30p: Arrive + Get Settled
Grab a snack and settle in.
3:30–4p: Snack + Get Curious
We’ll explore the cultural inspiration of the week through art, traditions, celebrations, patterns, colors, and artifacts whenever possible.
4–4:45p: Create
Mix it. Squish it. Stretch it. Spin it. Test it. Change it. See what happens.
4:45–5p: Share + Celebrate
We’ll talk about what we discovered (including the things that didn't go according to plan).
5p: Pick Up
Stay & Tinker * Add More Time (5p - 6p)
Want to give your kiddo a little more time to create (and yourself a little more time to adult)? Add Stay & Tinker happy hour to any after school activity for $15 (or, included with Wonder Club).
From 5p - 6p kids can keep creating on their original project or start fresh with an open bar of selected materials.
Join Wonder Club for Added Perks
Wonder Club is a perfect solution for any kiddo who wants to participate in an activity at least 4 times a month.
Wonder Club gives you 4 passes per month. You can sign up for a recurring weekly class and go on auto pilot - or you can choose to mix and match throughout the month.
Wonder Club is $149 / month for any of the after school activities.
Add additional 4-passes for $99 to any month (does not need to be recurring, but can be).
Wonder Club includes the Stay & Tinker hour at no additional cost (5p - 6p) and a bunch of other perks like one Wonder Lab pass a month and discounts on pop-ups and camps.

TRANSPORTATION FROM SCHOOL

We are right on Johnson Drive next door to Lamar's Donuts and Mission Theater. There is parallel parking right in front of the studio.
