Kids Club November (St. Agnes Community)

Kids Club November (St. Agnes Community)

Wonder & Whoa Kids Club: Because work hours still don't line up with school hours!

Keep active minds curious after school with this exclusive offering for our St. Agnes community. Every Monday & Tuesday, kiddos get an opportunity to deepen their community connection, expand their growth mindset, practice leadership skills, and explore traditions through active play.

Instead of winding down with screens, Kids Club afternoons are filled with:

• Nutritious snacks to fuel growing brains (and taste buds adventurous enough to sample global flavors).

• Homework review with encouragement and planning support—because getting a jump on it makes the whole week smoother.

• Hands-on adventures like make-and-take crafts, story creation, music and movement, cooking, nature play, and sensory exploration.

Kids engage in both age-appropriate groups and mixed-age activities, giving older children the chance to mentor younger ones and everyone the chance to feel part of something bigger.

For parents, it’s peace of mind: knowing your child is spending the afternoon in a safe, fun, values-aligned space extended only to our St. Agnes community. For kids, it’s a chance to play, discover, and grow in ways that complement the school day—more questions, more creativity, more curiosity.

👉 Enrollment is open now—spots are limited for St. Agnes families only.

More Details: Our afternoon schedule will consist of:

Nutritious Snack Time:  We'll fuel those growing brains to keep afternoon moods regulated while chatting about the importance of nutrition on growing bodies and exploring new tastes from around the world.

Homework Review: Let's get a jump on homework for the week.  Following snack time we'll spend 30 minutes on homework review and completion or growth mindset activities for those with no homework.  We may not complete all that is needed for homework, but we'll bring it to the forefront of priorities and work with your kiddo to set a plan for completing throughout the week.

Hands-On Activities: The rest of the afternoon will be spent exploring global cultures through hands on activities.  This could include make and take arts and crafts, learning the art of story creation, exploring music and movement, make and bake recipe creation, nature and sensory exploration, and so much more.  Kids will work both within their peer groups on age appropriate activities; as well as mixed age activities giving the older kids an opportunity to mentor younger kids.

Nope. This is hosted by Wonder & Whoa :) We're a cultural arts center located in downtown Mission, KS. The owner of Wonder & Whoa is a proud St. Agnes parent.

How Does Transportation Work?

Transportation will be provided by a professional transportation service. We'll provide a list of registered kids to Mrs. Sullivan. Transportation is currently set up to go through 5 Guys Transportation.

What Types of Snacks and How About Allergies?

For snack time we want to fill the kids with nutrition, as well as open opportunities for new tastes from around the world. Smoothies, charcuterie boards, tapas, etc.

Yes, we can accommodate allergies.

This is 2 Days A Week?

Yep! Most of our activities will be progressive, meaning we start one day and finish the next. Thats why we have the two day option as opposed to offering a single day option.
